I along with a few friends from my b-school Europe Asia Business School, Anniesh, Abhinav Rana and Ashish Bansali traveled to Shirdi on the 27th - 28th March 2009. We took a semi-luxury private bus that left Pune at around 12:30am (was supposed to leave at dot 12:00am). In the middle of the night it took a pit stop at a hotel which played songs all linked to addiction to alcohol whereas the hotel strictly prohibited alcohol. And the fun part, we were forced to see a movie "Munna Bhai MBBS". We reached Shirdi at around 4:30 am to 5:00 am (again against the stipulated ETA 4 am). After a quick bath, we deposited our luggage and mobile at the counter and visited the temple which was around 2 hrs and were out by 7 am. We boarded a bus back to Pune at 9:30 am. In most part of the journey we slept off and a good simple lunch at an Dhaba on the Pune-Nasik highway were we clicked a few snaps from my camera-mobile phone.

After the lunch we were again asleep till we were close to Chakan, it is the time when the sun was over our head making it difficult to sleep with the temperatures around 40 degrees.
On reaching Pune we got off the bus at Khadki Bazar and took a trip to Yerwada in a Public transport bus, then walked half a kilometer in the hot sun to take a shared rickshaw to Kharadi. Anniesh and I on reaching Kharadi, went to a neera stall that served cool drinks and had Three full glassed of Lime juice to quench the thirst.
Back home it was time to attach the bed and sleep dead for two hours.
